Instructor: Advanced (RRT) Respiratory Therapy Program
Seeking full-time and part-time instructors
General Duties:
- Organize, plan, develop & deliver classroom and laboratory instruction
- Assist with coordination of department activities and projects
- Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning
- Maintain detailed records of student learning activities
- Prepare and administer quizzes, tests and examinations
- Conduct student performance-evaluations
- Supervise and evaluate student didactic learning and skill-performance
- Provide input into curriculum development and instructional methods
- Support program learning objectives and philosophy
- Serve on various committees
- Assist in student recruitment and screening
- Behave and dress as a role model for students
- Inspire and motivate students

Requirements: |
- Bachelors Degree
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Currently eligible for licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Missouri
- Prefer two or more years of clinical experience
- Prefer previous RT teaching experience
- Current in RT patient care & diagnostic procedures
- Be of good moral character
- Ability to work in a fast-paced goal-oriented environment
- Articulate the mission and vision of the institution
